Pony lessons includes meet and greet, grooming, saddled lesson and or short ride on trails. All classes are parent participation. Requirements: your own helmet (bike helmet ok), no open toed shoes this includes the parents. An apple or carrot to feed pony after class is complete.

Preschool Adventures is a unique class that is designed as a stress-free way for children to be introduced to the preschool experience. Children and their guardians will rotate through 4-5 tables which will each have age-appropriate crafts and activities. The class will also be a great time for children to practice the skills of following directions, active listening, taking turns/sharing, and proper use of classroom materials as well as identifying colors, numbers, and shapes. Every class will have a theme with open-ended and creative activities. We will close with a large motor activity and goodbye song. In this fun class students will learn the skips, jig, and original choreography from the world-class Dunleavy School. Parents are invited to our performance the last day of class. Please bring a water bottle, and wear socks, shorts, and a t-shirt.

The authors of ABC's for Happy, Healthy Kids, Megan Allocco-Angell and Carlee Bigelow will be at the Recreation Center in May! Their book celebrates health for little ones, encouraging them to embrace a holistic approach to happy living. This event is for the entire family and includes a signed copy of their book, DIY trail mix snack bar, and a water bottle. They will also end the workshop with a family fun run/jog for everyone to participate in together. Please register one child and list all other family members attending under roster notes.

Introduce your little one to basic fitness skills such as stretching, jumping, relays, and obstacles through age appropriate games and activities geared around fitness and fun. An assortment of fun equipment will be used throughout this class. Join us for a fantastically fun introduction to fitness!

This class was created to give kids an exciting approach to fitness as they work on strength, flexibility, conditioning, coordination and problem solving. They will work with colorful equipment, conquer obstacle courses, and play fun games.

This is a great start for any little athlete to get the "ball" rolling. In this class we will work on throwing, rolling, kicking, catching, jumping, and hand eye coordination which will help with self-confidence and body awareness through fun games and equipment. We will also work on strength, flexibility, agility, and healthy lifestyle as well.

This class will introduce young boys and girls to music and dance while exploring movement and basic dance steps in a fun creative way. We use imagination games, up-beat age appropriate music and props, like colorful scarves, hula hoops and maracas to inspire and excite students about dance. Your toddler will also develop listening skills, along with their gross motor skills, coordination, muscle development and body awareness. Please have your child dress in comfortable clothes for movement. This is a parent/child class but please register child only.

Demonstrate basic riding and horsemanship skills as you learn how to groom and ride your horse at a walk. A great introductory program especially for new and beginning riders. Helmets provided for riders. Parents are required to stay, but assistance is not required. This camp is for children ages 3 - 5 that have not yet entered Kindergarten. Children will enjoy games, crafts, music, playing outside, special guest visits and more! Children MUST be completely potty trained. Please email Kristen Rieger at [email protected] if you have questions.
