Our K-5 Full Day Camp will be held at 2 locations again this summer, the Webster Recreation Center and Klem South Elementary. Our camp provides a safe, fun, and active program for children who have completed Kindergarten through children who have completed 5th grade. Children are grouped by their ages and rotate through a variety of indoor and outdoor activities. Campers may be dropped off anytime between the hours of 7:30 AM - 8:45 AM and picked up between the hours of 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM. Campers must bring a lunch, morning and afternoon snack, water bottle, and wear sneakers and sunscreen every day. You MUST UPDATE your household's emergency and medical information in our Web Trac system when your register your child for camp. Our half day summer camp experience is fun for 5 - 9 years old! This outdoor camp will provide a safe, fun, and active program for your child. Each day will be using the Miracle Field playground, playing games on the enclosed turf field, do some near by hiking on the Hickey Bark Woods TRAIL, play water games and having guest attendees. Each child must be bring a lunch, snack, water bottle, wear sneakers and sunscreen every day. Drop off is 9am and pick up is promptly at 1pm. Webster Parks and Recreation is offering weekly field-trips to exciting locations for kids who have COMPLETED 6th-8th grade. Each 4-day session is Monday-Thursday and includes a variety of thrilling destinations each week. Some of the destinations include (but are not limited to and are subject to change): Seabreeze, Clubhouse, Horizon Fun FX, ice skating, bowling .... just to name a few! Some days we may visit two locations and some days only one, depending on the location and the activity. Please refer to the camp calendar for a schedule of specific trip destinations. Choose from 6 different sessions or all 6 weeks. All admission fees and transportation are included in the weekly rate. Campers will be allowed to experience the excitement of these locations using the buddy system. While all of our camps are supervised by our dedicated staff, our 6-8th grade campers will be required/expected to exhibit personal responsibility and independence within specific boundaries and time frames set by staff. Camper arrival and departure is according to each day's trip. Please refer to the trip schedule for bus departure and return times for each trip as they do vary daily. (Most trips depart between 9-10am and return between 3-5pm.) Drop-off and pick-up will be at the south end of the Webster Recreation Center parking lot. Webster Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel or change any trip due to weather or other circumstances. All trips may be subject to change. Fees will NOT be pro-rated or refunded for missed days. Mixing and matching trips is not allowed. Required camper paperwork must be returned no later than the Friday prior to camp start date.
