Boating Safety

Iroquois Sail and Power Squadron is hosting this Boating Safety class. The new NYS law requires all individuals operating motorized vessels regardless of age to have this certification by January 1, 2025. The class is officially recognized as an eight-hour safety course. The topics covered include: required safety equipment, navigation rules, government state and local regulations, water rules, buoys, safe operation, and accidents reporting. Fee: $35 for first family member and $10 for each additional family member.
